Booked a taxi online to pick us up from HKIA direct to Shenzhen bay border for crossing into Shenzhen. Was very convenient and customs crossing was smooth despite the big crowd. Once crossed the customs, things got a little messy as the signal near the main building is very weak, probably due to the high traffic, so do consider getting out in the open to get better signal for your phone to work. Getting to the DiDi pickup point was a short walk. Human and vehicle traffic at the berths are aplenty and be sure to watch out for both traffic. Overall, was relatively convenient, just a little too crowded as expected.
