From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the stunning views – not just from my Premier Studio with Park View, but from nearly every corner of the hotel. My 72 m² room offered breathtaking 180-degree views of Nanshan City, the park, and Shenzhen Bay, with a gorgeous sunset glow over the sea each evening. The room itself was ultra-spacious and well thought out – a king-size bed, a massive bathroom with a separate shower and smart toilet, luxurious amenities, a comfortable lounge area, and a complimentary mini bar that was actually stocked! I also received a lovely welcome amenity, which was a sweet touch.
The Sky Lobby left an unforgettable impression – perched high above the city with sweeping views of Shenzhen Bay and Talent Park below. The hotel is also filled with over 100 artworks – it honestly felt like walking through a luxury gallery at times.
I spent time at the Wellness Centre on the 33rd floor, and it’s truly a serene oasis. The 25-metre indoor pool, modern gym, and views stretching all the way to Hong Kong make it an ideal spot to recharge. They even offer personal training sessions if you want to go the extra mile.
Another standout was the butler service – absolutely phenomenal. Some butlers were specifically trained to assist foreign travelers, which made everything even more seamless and comfortable.
The hotel is located in Nanshan, not the busy Futian or Bao’an districts, but that’s actually a huge plus. It sits in a newer, ultra-luxurious neighborhood just a short stroll from The MixC mall, which is massive and upscale. Don’t miss the nightly light show from 7–9 PM – the best view is from the bridge at Talent Park.
The Sky Concert Hall on the 72nd floor is also an architectural and cultural marvel – it’s the highest concert hall in the world, used for high-profile events, fashion shows, and galas.

Afternoon tea at The Long Bar (71F) – I tried their spring-themed tea set, which was not only delicious but served with panoramic views and a chic, minimalist vibe, enhanced by Cynthia Sah’s artworks. Loved their Shenzhen Sling cocktail too! Lunch at Yun Jing (70F) – One of the most exceptional Cantonese fine dining experiences I’ve had. The space is airy and elegant, with each private dining room themed after a gemstone. Don’t miss this if you love refined Chinese cuisine! Breakfast at Sky Café (34F) – A well-curated fusion of Chinese, Western, and Japanese flavors. Great variety, high quality. RUI Lounge (34F) – Welcomed here during check-in with class and calm. A beautiful space for relaxing, sipping craft tea, or enjoying their elegant afternoon tea service. I didn’t dine at the Japanese restaurant, but I passed through and the design was stunning – definitely one for next time. On the ground floor, the Raffles Patisserie is a hidden gem – I was obsessed with their bouquet-shaped cakes, chocolates, and delicately crafted pastries. Perfect gifts or treats to take home.
