Rongguo Mansion is located inside of Zhengding County, which is a very beautiful place. The entire county is filled with historical vibes and the place has been used to film historic shows and movies before. The Rongguo Mansion is well maintained and is very quiet. However it is unlikely to take you more than 30 minutes to complete touring of the location. I would recommend the place for people that would like to take some nice portrait pictures. The location is very empty and has many nice looking structures and backdrops that you may be able to use for photographing yourself or your subject. If you have been do any other palaces or mansions in Beijing, this one may pale in comparison. Considering the lack of things to do here, I would consider the 40 yuan ticket to be relatively pricey.
