Courtyard Kunshan — Attraction in Suzhou City

stayed here a few years ago and recently back. the hotel is an excellent choice if travelling to this area. They provide high level of customer service and the hotel has good amenities, plus free parking in an underground car park. the rooms are decent with western TV and breakfast is included - a buffet of western and Chinese food.||||the area it is in has come on loads since last time I was here and there are many choices of restaurants plus a couple of bars, supermarkets and other things. The hotel also has a very decent lounge bar in it too, so there is plenty to do if staying here.||||getting there is easy as well as the area is now served by a brand new expressway. The distance in time take to get here from Hongqiao airport (for example)...

My stay was for 6 days/5 nights and it was for business purpose. Food is good, breakfast is great and like any other good hotel chain, this hotel offers you good service. The only lacuna were:

1. Internet - Speed was very slow and connection kept dropping - really a huge scope to improve here
2. English speaking staff - At Courtyard Kunshan, it becomes very difficult to explain staff your needs as they do not speak English. Even asking for clearing out the room service plates took a huge effort and had to go to reception and tell front desk managers (which ideally should have been done...

Wireless not workable and transfer me to call center. they gave the reason and restart the device but no one called back even i asked. Then, 20minutes later, i called reception again, they said they still fixed the internal server, will call back when the service is workable. And two hours later, even i done my work via my phone's internet, no one called back. Until check-out, no one cares. For taking away the breakfast, only two small boxes, even can't pack a cinnamon roll in. And they said it's their policy, only two boxed for taking away...
