Otherwise known as Tiger Hill, this spot has been for centuries one of the foremost attractions in Suzhou. It is an extensive and very beautiful area surrounded by canals and whose main attraction is the leaning stone pagoda (rebuilt) at the top of the hill. To best enjoy the numerous gardens, ancient pavilions, temples, and canals here, I would recommend spending about 2-3 hours by foot. There are also sightseeing boats available on water and horse carriages that go around the hill. There are 2 entrances on the northern and southern ends: the Suzhou tourist bus (highly recommended) takes the highway and stops on the north end, while the southern one has the car park.
