Ruiguang Tower — Attraction in Suzhou City

The Tower is very nice, and the scenic area in which it can be found is large, beautiful, and not overly crowded. There is a good variety of scenery here, between the large tower, sizeable pagodas, a large lake/pond, a waterfall, numerous gardens, etc. Plenty of good photo opportunities, plenty of things to walk around and see, or if you're just in the mood for some relaxation, plenty of quiet places to unwind. Location isn't ideal as it is pretty far removed from the other main sights of downtown Suzhou, but it is maybe a 1km walk from the nearest metro stop so it really isn't too inconvenient. Very scenic and the historical tower worth a visit. I think it is not the top tourist spot as we dont encounter a lot of tourist on our day of visit on a Tuesday morning. We can fully enjoy the tranquility of Chinese traditional garden. We had lunch at a restaurant within the park area, decent environment, air-conditioned (a necessity in suumer), good food and value for money. we get there by ride hailing apps, as it is a bit difficult to reach by public transport. Lovely park with pagoda, lake, and pavilions. It is large and spacious, laid out around a lake with modern outdoor lighting and a stage where there are short dance performances at night.
