Visited on 5th Feb 2025 late afternoon. This was during the celebration of Lunar New Year so it was completely packed. Climbing up and down the stairs was a hassle as everyone was crammed in like sardines however the view was astonishing on all levels. It was intriguing to see the historical artworks mixed with present artworks in the art gallery. There were souvenir stores throughout the towers. Expect no respect for personal space. There are also food stores in and around the location. There are multiple gates for entry. I entered through the north gate and exited through the south. If entering from north, there is a bus that can be accessed through queueing however expect a long wait to get to the tower. If you have elderly or young children, the lift can be taken down with queueing when you reach the top of the tower. It is highly recommended to take the stairs if possible. As it is a park, there are also ponds located throughout the walk from start to finish. Overall, a great location to experience one of the four great...
Read more黃鶴樓 is undoubtedly one of the most stunning traditional Chinese towers I’ve ever visited. Its architectural grandeur is awe-inspiring, both during the day and at night. During daylight, the intricate designs and vibrant colors stand out against the sky, while in the evening, the tower is beautifully illuminated, creating a magical atmosphere.
Climbing the stairs to the top was absolutely worth it—the panoramic view of Wuhan from above was spectacular! You can see the city’s skyline, the winding Yangtze River, and the surrounding landscapes, making it a perfect spot for photography and reflection.
To my delight, there was also a cultural performance in front of the tower during my visit. The traditional music and dance added an extra layer of charm to the experience, making it even more memorable.
Whether you're a history enthusiast, architecture lover, or simply looking for a picturesque place to explore,黃鶴樓 is a must-visit. I highly recommend it and would...
Read moreThe Yellow Crane Tower was amazing to see. The tower is magnificent and it's filled with art from the floor to the ceiling. The climb up the stairs to the top is a bit taxing, but the view of Yellow Crane Tower park, the Yangtze River, and the city of Wuhan makes it worth every step. The park surrounding the tower is beautiful. The information boards include an English translation, so you can read about the historical site as you explore the park. In addition to the Yellow Crane Tower, the park includes a beautiful pond with gorgeous pink and yellow Water Lillies (and amazingly clear water), several statues, and a Bell Tower. The Bell Tower is also visible from the top of Yellow Crane Tower. Entrance to the Yellow Crane Tower and surrounding park was 70 Renminbi (about $10.50) - a small price to pay to visit such a...
