Baling Square — Attraction in Yueyang

A spatious square with fantastic location and convenient transportation. Worth to visit and relax if you intend to go North to visit Yueyang Tower or head South to historical architecture zone. Various local snacks sold in stalls, and amusements facilities for kids have been constructed for years. But Personally I enjoy the time that I walk the path alone the lakeside, this is a place where used to be a port and repleced to a park, you can find there still have some port cranes left. The whole park zone is amazing, as a local, I must say the lake view is wonderful which cannot be missed, you can imagine when the sky is getting dark, lights in the distance gradually turn on and the sunset merges with the lake. Nice large area to walk around with a huge and very cool statue. Continues down some stairs to Dongting lake. You can catch a ferry or speedboat from here to the other side of the lake, Junshan Island. Has restaurants nearby...
