Zhangjiajie Junsheng Painting Institute — Attraction in Zhangjiajie

I loved this place!!! I'm really glad we made time to visit while we were in Zhangjiajie (we visited in spring 2018). It didn't take much time to walk through, probably about an hour, but it was so worth it. The art is BEAUTIFUL and very unique. I've never seen anything like it. There was a guide who spoke English and explained things to us very well. We couldn't resist buying a piece, which I keep on my work desk (see picture). There are more expensive pieces from the artist who created this style (the place is named after him - Junsheng) and more affordable pieces from his students, which is the kind we bought. They included the picture stand for free! We brought ours home in our suitcase, but they offer a packing and shipping service if you'd prefer. In terms of visiting the place, the gallery is beautiful and the building weavs in nature in a unquie way. Similar to the art style of using natural materials.
