We went up by via crucis and down via el sendero de los aguacates - el sendero de los perdidos. It would probably be easier the other way around 😅 The view is amazing! Pack water (& picknick) cause there's nothing to be found on the way. The path along via crucis is well maintained and it's quite clear how to get to the top. On our way back we were actually planning to get to the road to get a mototaxi for my mother-in-law, but somehow we ended up walking the whole way along El sendero de los aguacates 😅 I wouldn't recommend it with elderly (we all fell once) but for our kids (4&9, baby in baby carrier) it was quite the adventure.
