Centro Comercial Centro Mayor — Attraction in Bogota, Capital District

I believe it is advertised as the largest mall in Bogota and I had visited a couple of times. Indeed it is large but I found it a little underwhelming. I find the parking garage very tight to navigate and the access to the mall from here is confusing. I don't think the mall is that old, however in my opinion the design is a little bit boring for today's standards. I think I have visited both times in December, and both times the crowds have been unbelievable. Finding a place to have lunch at the food court it's almost impossible. Worst mall I have ever been to, it was super packed every single day, I went 3 separate days and each day was more packed than the other. Food was horrible and they're staff at each place was rude about giving us a to go box with a bag. I also felt unsafe taking out my cell phone for anything because people would look at you to try and steal it. When I went into every store I didn't feel as though I was buying a genuine product, everything felt fake or a few generations old and all the vendors are just looking to take your money. ¡Impressivo! As I think they say here. Huge mall. Apparently the second largest in all of South America and I can believe it. It just goes on and on. A huge selection of stores for whatever interests you. Plus a giant supermarket called Exito. In a city that seemingly has a mega mall every other mile, this one stands out.
