At first I wasn't really motivated to visit this museum. I'd read some comments that I didn't like, but in the end it's surely one of my favorite of Cali's various cultural sites.
Admittedly, the music is loud, the guide speaks fast in Spanish (I don't know if he does the Tours in English) and it's better to have a good Hispanic base to understand what he's saying.
But the interactive aspect of the tour (learning a few dance steps) gives you a little extra something too, and you get the feeling that these people are passionate about their culture and want to pass on their knowledge and preserve it.
A little extra info, but I think the most important: part of the ticket price (very reasonable for 1h30) is donated to hire music teachers and teach various instruments to underprivileged local children.
