Entering from the main road after visiting El Tablón. You walk about 25/30min along dirt farm roads. La Chaquira is located at the end of the road. There is a Resteraunt with light snacks and refreshments. A stone carving craftsman and a girl making beautiful thread bracelets. There are statues all over the property hidden in bushes and long grass. It’s also recommended you walk down an extensive staircase to see the River and canyon. There are 2 viewpoint platforms. The history is interesting but the views here were absolutely breathtaking (mountains, the river, waterfalls, etc.).
