Parque Nacional de Cafe, a pride of the Coffee region of Colombia, is near Armenia, Quindio. Other nearby cities include Pereira and Cartago. Here there are numerous rides and amusements along with cable cars which cross the park for stunning aerial views. Also available are horseback riding, a train that circles the grounds, a variety of fast food and regional cuisine restaurants, and a specialty ice cream shop (coffee flavored with chocolate is my favorite). Displays, some with live guides, abound among copious displays of worldwide variety coffee plants. Don't forget to pick up a bag of regionally-grown coffee before leaving.
