AQUANAUTAS — Attraction in San Andrés and Providencia

YOU MUST VISIT THIS PLACE!!! This is the best snorkeling place I have ever been to. About 30 feet of clear water filled with fish. Even though I did not Snuba, I would not recommend it. There were people Snubaing and it seemed like less than 30 minutes, but I am not sure of the price. If you are able to swim underwater while snorkeling, you can go down and see the Poseidon statue that they take pictures of while Snubaing. The statue is about 25-30 feet deep at the base. Really cool to see. Came here as part of a tour from my hotel, so was only able to stay for about 45 minutes. The entry was 5000 COP, which was cheaper than the natural pool down the road. For me, it was a total tourist trap. For the price they charge you for the dive and the photos, you could do a diving mini course in a live and thriving reef, just beside aquanautas. It’s not a walk under the sea, it’s a tour in which the instructors take you to the photo spots and throw a lot of fish food to attract the fish, disrupting the natural ocean environment. Amazing place very much worth the admission. You can rent life vests and swim maskes here so don't worry if your not a strong swimmer or forgot your mask. There is also slides and ladders to help you get into the water. There are also small bars for drinks like fresh coconut water and they have some things to eat.
