I don't recommend this part of the island to any tourist. It's both not attractive and there are con-artists that demand payment at the entrance. This was originally a nature sightseeing place, with a geyser-like attraction, but now, a lot of stores have been built at some 5 meters around it so they took away the beauty of the place. Not only that, but at the entrance you'll find men who demand payment for visiting the place (they are not employees from the place, more like con-artists who sit on the alley and block access until you pay). They demand payment and if you don't pay they block access and try to intimidate you. You'll hear from them the excuse that the money is not an entrance payment but that you're buying drinks from them (so it doesn't sound illegal and they can keep doing it), but if you don't pay, they'll try to intimate you and block the alley.

I recommend you go to other places on the island and to avoid a bad experience here.

Tip: If you really really want to come here, you can enter for free via the souvenir shops, from where the alley men...

We were touring the island with our mule so we gave it a quick stop. You can park on the side of the road, so you don't need to pay or buy a drink for parking. As soon as you park there are very aggressive touts telling you that it is required to buy a drink to see the hole. This is a lie, it is open to the public. Just keep walking and walk through the many drink shops to get to it. We did start talking with one of the shop owners named Oscar who was not aggressively selling and was very nice. We ended up buying a drink from him. We visited at low tide with almost no wind (or waves) to make the water shoot through. You could still feel the warm air pushed up. It was actually a cool experience because we jumped in the water at the shoreline and swam up under the reef to the bottom of the hole. It was a cool alternative way to...

I have to give only 4/5. As you can see it was calm day, so 'geysir' didn't worked. Hahaha... Not his fault, waves were the one to be blame. I saw videos from locals and when it's windy geysir really 'wash' everybody in perimeter of few meters. What I don't like is stores around this place, lot of souvenirs, not cheap, but rather expensive. Even more I would say 99% products are made in China. Not authentic. That's what I don't like, I seek for local products, places, people... Don't try to sell me something which is made thousand of miles away from this beautiful Caribbean place. Anyways, if you coming here just try to come when It's windy, wavy day. I bet you'll enjoy. 🤟😎

Something different to see, caused of natural fenomeno. Just be careful when you get there with the businesses around, there are some people who offer you to buy a drink, because they say we help them to maintain the business but when you going to pay, you will shocked how over priced it is.2oz of coco 🍋 for $12000 pesos like $4 US. So make sure you ask for the price before you buy anything there. The hoyo soplador place is parking Free if you rent the little golf car you be able to park on the side of the road, just be careful with the local bars that are runed by the abusers $$$$$$ in the area.
