Centro Comercial Ocean Mall — Attraction in Santa Marta

The mall is low lit, so looks a bit dark and gloomy, but it's good for light sensitive shoppers. Plus, the ladies keep it clean. But it's hot. AC only from some of the stores. No AC from the mall 🥵.

Has 3 levels.

Enter on main w/Jumbo Supermarket, stores & kiosks (mostly no frills but a few premium), a few banks & ATMs.

Lower level has a few stores, electronic stores, a sitting area, and parking garage.

Upper level has Happy City kids land, small food court, a few more stores, Cineland movie theater, and restrooms. Masks required. Good security throughout.

Now for the bad -

Need 200 COP for tissue, so bring coins or your own. With the vast amount of women working in the stores and slaving to keep the mall clean, not to mention the female shoppers helping to keep the economy alive, I don't understand why the mall doesn't cover the expense for this much...

Visited the Jumbo variety store to shop for appliances for my new apartment. We were actually recommended to Jumbo by a salesman at the Exito store in Buena Vista. We were greeted in the appliance department by Mr Rafael, who is a friendly and knowledgeable salesman. We were shown a variety of options and choices. After some consideration, I elected to purchase a beautiful LG brand refrigerator. Delivery is free and installation will be performed by an LG technician within 3 days.
