Bijagua Rainforest Garden — Attraction in Bijagua

I scheduled a tour with Bijagua Rainforest Tours in the Tenorio National park near Bijagua in Costa Rica. Our guide was extremely courteous, spoke excellent English and showed us so many birds and animals we would have never noticed without him. I’ve been on tours before where it’s obvious the guide is simply going through the motions and has no real concern about the client experience or the quality and excellence of their presentation. That is definitely not the case with Bijagua Rainforest Tours. Our guide was engaged and obviously passionate about our experience, as well as the country he lives in and nature in general. My husband, our friends, and I visited the Rio Celeste Waterfall with Marlon, who was welcoming, friendly, and kind. He spoke English very well and was exceptionally knowledgeable about the ecosystem. I really appreciated his keen eye and impressive ability to spot the many birds, monkeys, snakes, and other wildlife hiding within the dense jungle. The spotting scope he brought was nice to have to see wildlife much more clearly and up close.

Bijagua Rainforest Gardens and Tours was an INCREDIBLE experience!!! Kevin was our tour guide, he is so very knowledgeable, he was patient and explained all vegetation and wildlife so well. We were able to see an active sloth!!! Incredible wildlife (a venomous snake- fer the lance, an active sloth, beautiful birds).
