Night Tour La Fortuna — Attraction in La Fortuna

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience on the night tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer questions. He clearly understood the wildlife of Costa Rica and was able to point out many animals including a sloth, frogs and snakes. The walk is suitable for all kinds of people as the path is level and not long, although a lot of wildlife can be found in the area. We also returned to look around the area in the day time where we saw much more active butterflies and it was a whole different experience. I would highly recommend including the tour on your itinerary...

2. this is actually a sanctuary, not someone’s backyard. The employees seem to really care about the animals, and they don’t feed/entrap any animals
