I cannot say enough about how incredible this is experience was or about how fantastic our tour guide, Jorge is. He is so knowledgeable, interesting, patient, and funny. I went with a great group of people- only six of us- from several different countries.

When we arrived, they quickly divided us into small groups, putting the families with children together and creating an adult group, which, no offense, I appreciated for a tour like this. I'm a solo traveler as we're four others in our group of seven.

We drove up to the top of Mirador el Silencio in time to watch and incredible view of the sunset, were given flashlights, and our hike commenced.

We learned and saw so much. I travel as much as money and time afford, and this was one of the single best travel experiences I've had in my life.

I booked through Viator, but I'm sure you can book through this website as well. I cannot recommend this any higher. It's a very well-run operation. Jorge is top-notch and I'm sure the other guides are too.

We have travelled to a variety of tropical locations (including several trips to Costa Rica), and Brandon was the best guide we’ve had yet! Both immensely knowledgeable and very friendly, he has such a love and passion for the life of the forest that is rarely found even among talented guides. He was able to find and point out not just the ‘common’ species, but also went the extra mile to find us some of the more esoteric species we were after!

We did two private night hikes with Brandon, and being a photographer, he was willing to work with me to not only find and point out the animals I was after, but also understood the method and patience that it takes to make quality images.

Hi from Kelowna, Canada! This tour was amazing! We went on the night jungle tour in mirador el Silencio, La fortuna on June 2nd. Our guide, Branden, was knowledgeable, kind and humorous! He was quick to point out wildlife and give everyone on the tour time to look and take photos. He was quick to reply to any questions prior to the tour and it was easy to find the meeting spot, though I believe they offer a shuttle to pick you up as well. I was a bit afraid to go in the jungle in the dark but it turned out to be my favorite experience of the whole trip! We saw plenty of tree frogs ;red-eyed and yellow hourglass), large spiders, snakes, and more!
