When in the area you have to visit Hormigas Town. The place is lovingly set up by Leo who seems to know everything about ants - especially leaf cutter ants. The one hour tour is equally educational and enjoyable. Even our ant obsessed son learned new facts about ants. You get the absolutely unique opportunity to look into the heart of a leaf cutter colony which is usually hidden several meters into the ground. Une visite originale, passionnante et très bon marché comparée à tous les "tours" de cette région (15 usd). L'entrée est simple et discrète au milieu des opérateurs de rafting. Nous sommes venus un peu par hasard avec nos 2 enfants de 12 et 15 ans et tout le monde a adoré : le parcours n'est pas très grand mais nous y avons quand même passé plus d'1h30, les explications de Leo étaient très intéressantes et nous n'avons vraiment pas vu le temps passer.
