Playa Garza — Attraction in Nosara

Garza is such a beautiful bay, super tranquil and peaceful....and swimmer friendly! As a Nosara local, it's heaven to escape the business of Guiones. I HIGHLY recommend you try an Efoil experience with Rodrigo. Efoil is a fun water sport that's perfect for Garza beach. Rodrigo provides all the equipment and lessons. And he's an incredible and fun host. We started the day with music, fresh coffee, some gentle stretching. And then we went into the blue water to do our Efoil lesson. Rodrigo is an amazing and patient teacher. We wrapped up with a fresh fish lunch at Pilos next door. I felt like a kid again! It was the perfect day....

Love it! The road was OK, is doable with a small car, but better ask since is not paviment and can get bad with rains. The beach is beautiful but you need to find the sweet spot, I will recommend a little to the north after the town, there is even another entrance. It’s secluded but not inaccesible. In a cove unused mostly by the surfer crowd that gathers at Baker’s beach in Guiones. Quiet and local it is a great family beach to get away. No glorious sunset but awesome rocks and tidal pools to sit quietly or hunt for fish and other living things to admire Don’t remove seashells from here or any beaches in CR word to the wise.
