DO NO SWIM, STRONG RIP CURRENTS, DROWNING RISK. I recently went to this beach with my husband and 8 and 10 year old boys. The boys and I were playing in shallow water when a large wave took us and swept us out past the break to rough waters. Had it not been for the heroic efforts of one of the parking guards (who swam a 10 ft log out to us) and another stranger with surfboard we would not have survived.
