Beautiful, secluded, very strong surf and rip tide. Highly recommend a 4x4 as you must cross a stream to get to this beach (see video). There are some locals selling beverages and snacks in the parking lot but otherwise it is without services. There is shade near the parking area and a beautiful shady grove about 1/4 mile walk to the right as you face the ocean. There is a private road that comes into this grove, which I believe leads to Mel Gibson's 500 acre compound. We LOVED this beach. Just be very careful as the surf is very strong and there are submerged rocks at both ends of the beach. Also tide pools at both ends of the beach to explore but you will need water shoes.
