Playa Nombre De Jesus — Attraction in Provincia Guanacaste

Went on a night turtle tour booked through Memorable Costa Rica. BEST EXPERIENCE!

Our guide, Chris, was amazing, friendly, knowledgeable, respectful and patient. He taught us so much about the black sea turtles. We witnessed 2 momma's laying eggs and several others digging nests and traveling up and down the beach.

We were fortunate to also see two baby black sea turtles emerge from their nest and travel safely to the ocean. Their shell was the size of a dinner spoon. So amazing.

Chris was patient with us as we needed extra time to travel back up the path. He had cold water, sodas and beer waiting for us back at the car. Our tour had a total of 8 people plus Chris. Flashlights were provided for the path, but not permitted on the beach. Chris had red light which is easier on turtles eyes and doesn't disturb the...

Es increíble playa llegar es un poco complicado solo con guía p alguien de la zona no hay rotulación se realiza la arribada de tortuga verde lora y Baula y desove lamentablemente no hay nadie que cuide esta playa de perros que comen los huevos las mismas personas que llegan sin estar informados y pueden pisar los nidos de huevos . A la noche Guias de la zona llevan gente a ver las tortugas pero no hay ninguna regulación tierra de nadie si vas solo te agreden porque no les pagas a ellos lo mejor es ir con un guía o conocido de la zona como turista solos no lo recomiendo lamentablemente pasamos una mala experiencia a pesar que vivos aquí hace 2 años. Siempre ir con luz roja y no acercarse a las tortugas y tampoco caminar en el área de anidacion recomiendo ir preparado y llegar con alguien conocido no es como Ostional que si hay...
