Playa Platanares — Attraction in Puntarenas Province

Look for tortugaspreciosas and their hawkbill turtle hatchery. Turtle release is at 6am (we did it on a Friday, not sure about other days)

Una playa de la entrada del golfo dulce, en la península de osa. Color del mar entre azul y turquesa con olas grandes y algunas veces fuertes corrientes, para paisaje un lugar como ninguno, al frente, punta banco, pavones, Manzanillo y zancudo, se ve atrás del golfo el poblado de Golfito y ya a el interior del golfo elnñarque nacional piedras blancas. Playa platanares, playa preciosa son lugares de anidación de tortugas más que todo después de agosto. Para bañarse el esas playas se recomienda mucho cuidado y mirar bien si el oleaje está fuerte o no. Por prodecian no se debe si las olas están fuertes que pasa en la mayoría del tiempo.
