Roots2River White Water Rafting CR — Attraction in Quepos

So much fun! They offered transport from our stay in Quepos (Las Cascadas Boutique Hotel) and picked us up and immediately were extremely entertaining (they brought the company chihuahua along for the ride!) They thoroughly explained everything and we quickly got onto the river where we had an incredible time. As we were a couple, it was just the two of us and our guide on the raft which made everything feel so much more extreme. Our guide was extremely friendly and also taught us about the area we were in. Halfway through we stopped for a break including fresh fruit and water/juice. We had SO MUCH FUN and they took so many great pictures and videos for us for free! The “surfing” was our favorite part as we got fully submerged, paddling for our lives (optional). 5 stars, we very much want to go back during winter when it gets more extreme. It was an absolutely thrilling experience! It was our first time white water rafting, and the clear instructions at the start really helped set us up for success. Knowing that our guide was an ex-rafting champion for multiple years gave us the confidence to attempt the Class 3–4 rapids. We had complete trust in our guide throughout the trip.

The guides were fantastic and kept everything under control. We always felt safe, even in the most intense moments. Further, we had another guide on a kayak next to us during the experience, looking after our safety and taking pictures and videos throughout, which ensured that you will have souvenirs to take home.
