I really enjoyed my time at this place. What I liked about the place was that the pool was 50 meters. It is not so easy to find a long course pool everywhere.
This facility is a great asset to the people of the area. Anyone, from anywhere in the world is lucky to have a 50 meter pool to train in. One like this one is a gem because it is filled with natural spring water.
The pool was the perfect temperature for swim training.
One thing that is kind of important for people doing swim training to know about this pool is that you have to be ready to sort of doge a bit of traffic. I may have been during a more open time when the pool was not roped off into lanes. But even with this who really cares . In my viewpoint if one is doing any sort of swim training in a public pool it is most important to understand that swimming around people is part of swim training. It’s the same as driving in traffic. Give the person swimming at a slower pace plenty of room, pass them politely and keep swimming. There is no need to get upset and make a fuss.
This is a very wonderful place to go. Anyone that loves to do swim training needs to experience this wonderful place!! There is a diving well with two dive platforms.
This facility has been open since the 1930s it is amazing how it has stood the test of time and been a wonderful asset to the region!!!
Accessible public pools are an amazing and wonderful assets to all communities. People need to be able to learn swimming skills in safe environments. This helps reduce the potential of drowning at all the many wonderful...
Read moreAmazingly huge park where the whole family could spend the whole day. A large lap pool, a medium sized pool for smaller kids who can swim, a very shallow one for little toddlers, and another huge one with varying depth. The waterfall pool is also pretty cool, and you can sit below it and get a water massage. Just make sure you don’t wear your sunglasses. Mine were washed away and very quickly disappeared in the gutter.
The water is not heated, so need to make sure it’s a hot day. My 4 year old was too cold to stay in the water when we went.
There are also football fields, tennis courts, basketball court and a big slide (not a water slide though). And a lake where you can rent little boats for an extra fee. The facilities are clearly built decades ago and chipping here and there but overall still decently maintained...
