The property is really nice and the workers are friendly.. I went with my family (3 under 5 years old) with young kids and I will say it is really expensive "tour" to do. I think the place it is overpriced.

The restaurant has a nice view of the central valley but staff wasn't as friendly as you would expect for what you're paying for. We ate 6 courses of gourmet food. If you're going on a date this is a nice place to go.

If you go you can probably walk on the trails for 1 or 2 hours. The place seems like it is huge but is not.

My main thing will be that they're not flexible at all. Needed to make a reservation, restaurant doesn't open until noon, we couldn't even have coffee outside of the restaurant, all the food is already prepared for you, and we spent almost 2 hours eating 😅.. that is way too much time for just a meal.

I have high expectations they...

My mom and I visited El Arca Vivero with zero expectations. We just wanted to get out of the city for the afternoon. Boy oh boy did they impress! I absolutely loved how this place is maintained but not overly manicured. It gives you the opportunity to see so many incredible species of plants in one space. When we finished walking the gardens, we checked out the Restraunt and it was spectacular! We had the Mushroom toast and the coconut mojito. Some of the best fresh food I’ve ever had. I love that they feature beautiful garnishes from their garden. Their emphasis on farm to table is awesome! The mojito was absolutely delicious and I will always...

I liked this place, a nice garden area with well marked paths to walk around and get both a good workout and a good tour, as the location is on a hillside, so there is lots of climbing down and up. The gardens are nice and interesting, showcasing different types of plants used for all kinds of different purposes. There was also store selling botanical oils and teas which was nice, and a store making and selling mead which was not very exciting. My mom thought the nurseries also sold plants but it wasn't apparent that they did, there weren't any workers...

If you like nature and wandering El Arca was great, well worth the $10 entry. Guided tours and an extended lunch are available for purchase. The walk is not difficult, but there is some elevation change, with many well maintained paths for wandering. As we did not hire a guide, the smartphone was very useful when we wanted to know more about a species. If you have the slightest interest in this sort of thing, be sure to check their website. Personally, I loved all the different spiders and the giant bees.
