Beautiful beach. Snorkeling is really good as far as free goes. Water was a little murky the day we went but we still saw a lot of fish and a huge stingray. Beach has a ton of hermit crabs. Road has an "impassable" section which makes the walks to the beach a little bit longer. The common parking is about 200 meters before the first trail.
I say impassable because the section is very rough and steep. We did see some large vehicles that made it past but we also saw one that had tried, failed, and rolled over onto itself. It was completely totaled. I would just walk the extra 200m to the first beach or 1km to the...
Read moreAs of November of 2023, the road to beach is currently under construction for a future resort. You can park about 600m away from the beach (where a security guard watches vehicles) after which you follow a well built path to down to the beach which descends about 100m (guessing). It is WELL worth the hike - this is a gorgeous beach with another beautiful smaller and slightly more private beach accessible by walking the rocks to the west.

Read moreStunning beach! Sadly, this is a dusty, crowded construction zone ‐ a Waldorf Astoria 🤢🤑🤮 has gone up and lots more in the works. At the moment, you have to park (if there is even a spot available) on the dust road amongst the tons of busses (presumably transporting the construction workers), trucks, and tractors. The walk is about 10 minutes. Soon, it may be easier to get there, but at what cost to the pristine beach and thriving hermit crab, urchin and other populations who call it...
