The best beach in the area. We visited a second time and this beach remains one of the best beaches in this area. Second visit was similar and there was very little people. However we were told that since our visit in Nov 2020 its become quite popular and became crowded during holidays. During our second visit the current was a little stronger and the water a bit clowdy since we visited first, so snorkeling was difficuly. There are many sea urchins on the rock formations.

Very small but gorgeous white sand beach less than an hour from Liberia. Fantastic place for snorkeling and swimming due to its crystal clear and calm waters. In order to get to this beach you have to leave your car parked (No charge)and walk about 20 minutes. The hike I feel, is easy/Moderate. There are no restrooms at this location. If you plan to visit this hidden gem make sure to bring water, snacks snd snorkeling equipment. Highly recommend!

There's construction on the road down to this beach as they are building a new resort on a nearby beach. You have to park your car at the top of the hill then hike down to the beach about 10 mins. The beach itself is small but the water is beautiful and not too crowded. The sand is nice and the views of the bay are amazing as you climb down the hill.

Wonderful secluded beach with very few visitors. Construction is ongoing but the road is paved up until you can split to go to Calzon or Penca. There's parking just left of the intersection and then a dirt path down to the beach that is a decent decline and slippery in places but we were able to navigate in sandals. It's worth the trek.

Beautiful little beach, shell sand and clear water, good swimming plus decent shady areas. You can walk around to Playa Penca on the left, passing another small beach. You walk down a long dirt road (mostly in shade) to get there, so be prepared if you are carrying a bug load!
