The garden is worth a visit, but I’d recommend avoiding autumn and winter. When we visited in October, it looked a bit neglected. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by an incident with a staff member who insisted we leave because of our dog—even though there was no signage at the entrance about pets, and the attendant who greeted us said nothing. The staff member seemed visibly irritated, making it clear her reaction was more about a dislike for dogs than any formal policy. Entrance is free.

This smaller botanical garden is also very pretty, just like the main one in downtown Zagreb. This garden has some exotic and rare plants/tress. It has beaten paths, and most of them are in the shade. The garden has an elongated form, and you can make a circle around it. There are restrooms near the entrance, and many benches to sit on. You can find parking near the entrance and in the neighbouring streets.

Very interesting place, free of charge as well, quite a thick and natural forest inside the park area, plants have name tags in Croatian and Latin. Provides solitude and a lot of benches for relaxation or private conversations. Good place to connect with a walk to Mirogoj cemetery which is 5-10 minutes away by foot.
