Franković Winery — Attraction in Grad Buje

Great food, but a very unpleasant experience altogether. We had dinner not one, but two times in just one week, with a group of 12 - a party that should be taken care of and treated with respect and hospitality, especially if you come more than once - or so you would think. While on our first evening, things were fine, the complete opposite was the case tonight.

Service was absolutely self centred and uncooperative. One in our party asked for an extra wish on their pizza, to which the waiter said "you can't have that here" in a very blunt and unfriendly way. When asked for ketchup to go with a plate of french fries for the children, we were also told "we don't have that.". At the end of the meal, we wanted to order digestifs, but we didn't get the chance - the waiter unaskedly slammed the bill on the table and left. We asked if it was possible to split up the bill, as we were 4 families; the waiter shook his head in utter disbelief and let us know there was, of course, no way of doing this. In 2022 in a day and age of digital payment and credit cards, it is absolute international standard to split a bill, but apparently the staff here doesn't see it that way.

We have rarely encountered a waiter as impolite and forgetful of his role in a great restaurant as today. Kudos to the kitchen, but this experience was unacceptable. This is not how you treat your guests. We will not be...

We went today in winery Franković where we have tasted several wines, and that filled our stock with the same :) Malvazija Franković is beautiful easy drinking every day wine. This was out top buying. Teran I really liked because it reminded me of old homemade red wines made by our grandparents. Sauvignon is somehow like Malvazija in red wine world - really smooth wine. And finely - Korona - if you are there this is your try&buy! I definitely recommend Franković wines - price and quality all in one! And not to forget - girl working there is more than pleasant, and she did introduce us with all we wanted to know about...

Wir waren in Istrien in einem drei Sterne Restaurant Essen, dort haben wir den guten Wein getrunken. Mir war klar das ich von diesem Wein nach Hause mitnehmen muss. ich habe gegoogelt und das Weingut gefunden. Am folgen Tag sind wir zu dem besagtem Weingut Hof hingefahren. Dort angekommen, haben wir uns sofort in den Laden hineinbegeben und sofort waren wir enttäuscht, der Raum war klein nichts besonders die Verkäuferin war am telefonieren hat uns ignoriert. Nach einer Zeit als sie fertig war mit telefonieren haben wir sie angesprochen aber nur aus unserer innovative weil sie so gut wie kein Interesse an uns gezeigt hat. Haben wir sie angesprochen es kam eine uninteressierte Antwort. läge Rede kurzer sinn, wir haben eine Liste Wein gekauft ich hätte gern mehr gekauft aber ich keine Lust mehr dort was zu kaufen.Meiner Meinung es loht sich nicht Vorort zu kaufen, auf jeden fall nicht empfehlenswert bei der...
