Vaja Bay — Attraction in Grad Korčula

I feel a little bad posting a review for this beach because it’s a beautiful locals beach that is slowly getting infiltrated by tourists, but it’s too beautiful not to share! It’s a small pebble beach so there isn’t too much space and can get crowded quickly. We came during the week in July right before noon and had trouble finding parking already, but we noticed that many of the locals just come for an hour or two and then leave, so by 3-4pm it was quite empty! Parking is minimal but free, and then you take a short hike down to the beach. You can rent deck chairs (10kn) and umbrella (40kn), and there is a tiny shack where you can buy some cold refreshments for convenience, but don’t expect a huge variety or...

Paradise on earth. Yes, it's a pebble beach, but that's almost all the Dalmatian coast, so water shoes are a good idea in this area no matter where you go. But the reward is crystal-clear water that's almost always calm in this protected inlet (even when surrounding waters are rougher), with stunning views and light crowds even in peak season. vaja bay is a beautiful hidden natural beach on the island of Korcula. Hidden between the hills and the forest, along a slightly more difficult path and a long walk, but when you see it, you will be left breathless. A miracle of nature with beautiful colors and smells. The beautiful crystal clear sea literally attracts you to swim in it.
