Slovin Unique - Rastoke — Attraction in Grad Slunj

We have just left this accommodation after spending 5 days on and off there. We used it as a base while we attended a festival 20km away.|The hotel is situated in a fairytale location, literally on top of waterfalls of every size in all directions. |Rastoke is a must visit if you are travelling through Croatia and I definitely recommend spending at least a full day there. Even better would be to spend 24 hours there. And if you do decide to stay at least one night in that area then I would definitely recommend this property.|It is situated right amongst the waterways with beautiful nature all around you from the moment that you leave the door. The gardens around the guesthouse are extremely well kept with lots of interesting pieces of art made out of wood with fairy themes at every turn. Our room itself was fairly basic but of a good size and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also of a good size and the shower worked perfectly throughout our stay. It is very peaceful at night there with the only sound being the relaxing noise of the water. Exteremly rude waitreses. We came to have a lunch (6 people) and just wanted to take a look of their yard to check is there a sunny spot there so we can decide take our picknick blankets from our car or not. But the waitress start to scream at us that we cannot enter whithout paying. I tried to explain that I will just take a look for a second and return, sit there and have a meal (in that case there is no entrance fee), but she did not alowe it. I asked for her superior, bud she did not alowe it either. I was shocked! We are traveling all around the world from Carribeans to far East, and I HAD NEVER MET SUCH RUDE, UNSENSITIVE, IDIOTIC BEHAVOUR TOWARDS CUSTOMERS. People who don't know anything about hospitality business, shouldn't be in that business area. I WAS ASHAMED TO BE A CROAT WHEN I SEE HOW LOCAL IDIOTS TREAT CUSTOMERS.
