The beach is spectacular and really-really beautiful. Its a nice pebble beach, the water deepens fast. Good place for snoorkering, near the famous rock there are lot of fish to see. If you are not staying here prepare to come early and pay a lot for parking (if you manage to find one) We’ve arrived at 9am and found probably one of the last parking spaces. Parking price in the bottom-near the beach is 20kn/hour, we stayed 9 hours and payed 180kn. No max price, pretty expensive. There is a parking lot a bit more up, there you can park for 100kn/day. Its around 4-5 mins extra walk, if we would visit again I would definitely park there. Other then that the place is superb! Also if you come early you can secure a great spot, it’ll get crowded around 10-11am. There are 3-4 places to eat, so thats pretty good. Also you can rent a jetski/sup if...
Read morePunta Rata beach is amazing and beautifull, that's true, but there was a problem that didn't allow us to enjoy very well our vacation in August 2024, and that also concerns all the other nearby beaches that we also visitated: there is absolutely no parking and it is literally a nightmare to come here and of course the beach is overpopulated. Parking can only be found by paying 30 euros and coming at 8:30 in the morning or after 4 in the afternoon. There is a disorganization that does not benefit tourists, in fact parking along the road, therefore not in the private parking, it is easy to incur a fine of 60 euros. Furthermore, in general, Croatia with the advent of the euro has become very expensive and to be honest with a quality-price ratio that is...
Read moreAbsolutely stunning beach and hands down one of the most beautiful promenades we’ve seen along this coast. From what we can tell on the map, it stretches all the way to Makarska — but right around here, it looks absolutely unreal.
The mix of greenery, the leaning trees, the turquoise water, and the clean, well-kept path — it all hits just right. Especially if you're not here during peak tourist time. We came in mid-May, and the whole place felt magical.
Punta Rata Beach itself looked incredible. You could actually find your own little corner, a quiet spot to settle in. I’m guessing that during peak season, there’s no way you’d be able to find a comfortable space to lay...
