Really chill, narrow beach with some nice tree shade, tucked right off a side road. Way longer than the neighboring Dracevac beach up north. This one’s at the northern edge of Podgora, so yeah — expect it to be more crowded in high season.
But in mid-May? Just check the pics, ha — pretty much zero people around. Totally doable for a morning swim too, the water wasn’t even that cold.
Super clear water, gentle entry, and you can literally park right next to it, near this little roundabout that’s right at the beach entrance. Just a really pleasant spot all around.
And of course, the absolute highlight — we saw a pretty big pod of dolphins swimming behind two swimmers who were making their way from south to north and then back again. The dolphins followed them both ways, jumping out of the water — at least 15 of them. It looked incredible.

Read moreGreat beach, least crowded in comparison to beaches nearby. Beautiful blue water. Beach is pebbles and gets deep very fast, so not very suitable for children. There are sunbeds for rent (8 euro per piece), which are dirty though. Quite few spots if natural shade under the trees. It is a quiet beach just around from the marina with lovely views and as with all of the coast around Podgora the water was clean and a lovely shade of blue. There are great little seating areas that you can sit at and just chill. The road/footpath that gives access to the beach runs around to the Welcome to Podgora Boat. Well worth the walk as you get great views of the mountain...
