Superb pebble / fine stone beach which stretches a little ways around the coast. The swimming area is netted and safe, just watch out for spiny urchins in the deeper parts! The sea is refreshingly chill, but don't be sheepish as you will warm up rapidly! Clearly a tourist attraction but surprisingly not a tourist trap. Free public restrooms. Stalls line the beach / promenade leading up to the entrance to the islet, but no pushy vendors along the beach itself. A handful of bars are close by with good nibbles and views over the water, although they are a little pricy the service, drinks and food is excellent. Loungers to rent for £5 / day seems reasonable. The entrance to the beautiful islet is right there by the beach, with numerous little shops selling a variety of souvenirs, and should not be missed if you visit the beach.

A beautiful pebble beach with crystal clear water. The sea gets deep fairly quickly and beach shoes are ideal. The views to Primosten are stunning. We paid 25 euro for 3 sun loungers and a large umbrella. There is a great choice of places to eat and drink nearby. We parked at the paid car park 15 euro for the day, just a few minutes walk, however there is a large free car park about 20 minutes walk away. We visited at the end if June on a Sunday, it was fairly busy but still a very relaxed day.

Very nice stoned beach. Lovely water and a view. Water is so clean. There are some place for parking. There are house for renting 5 m from beach. Nice for parents with small children. Has one very nice restaurant for familly meal and for very decent price. It has mall very near (longer foot distance). It does not have some attractions for children. It could be crowded from 11 until 17 h but after that it is nice to go with very small children and to have nice time.

This is Primosten main Beach. Very little rubbish, water is crystal clear but goes deep a little quick for little kids but great for big kids. You need a beach mat, as the beach is made of stones 3cm in size so rubber booties is advisable too. It also fronts on to restaurants and coffee shops like Vlaho. I got an excellant long black decafe and a great chat with the Co-owner Susan. We were there early October and was pefect with very few tourist.

I've been coming to Primosten for summer vacation for almost 20 years. This beach is really beautiful, clean sea, lots of space so it never gets crowded. But..there ia a big BUT- the whole beach of the penninsula (where Hotel Zora is) was covered with fake pebbles - the construction one, which is very pointy and it's hard to walk on, in opposite to the pebbles that have been shaped naturaly by sea. My advise is- take you swimming shoes with you.

Wow! What a beautiful place! This beach forms part of the village Primosten which is very picturesque, right on the water with a lovely old village and church at the top that you can walk to. There are bars and restaurants on the water front and plenty of space on the beach to sun bathe and swim. We're so glad we visited this gem. The only downside we had is that the quality of food at the local restaurants wasn't great. Definitely recommend!
