Aeropark Vrsar — Attraction in Općina Vrsar

The tourist guide mentioned it as must-see for aviation fans and described options to enter planes, enjoy food and drinks, a nice place :-)

When we arrived, the Aeropark was closed (though every sign said, that it should be open). We asked at the airfield if we could visit and someone took our money and opened it for us.

It is basically a graveyard for ~10 old rusty, broken planes that unfortunately cannot be entered :-(

In internet you can find, as opening hours, 9-20, but we arrived there 10 minutes after noon and it was closed, with an info that the park is closed from noon to 17.00. So we did't visited it. I've tried to contact them a couple of times before we went there, but nobody answer my email and my FB message. Vrsar city was a real joy to visit after this...

Wir haben immer wieder kleine Flieger über Rovinj gesehen und machten uns daraufhin auf die Suche nach dem Flugplatz um einen Rundflug zu buchen. Gelandet sind wir dann beim Aeropark Vrsar. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Uns wurde direkt ein guter Eindruck vermittelt. Ein Flieger war frei und wir konnten sofort starten. Der Pilot war sehr gelassen, gut gelaunt und war sich auch nicht zu schade ein Foto mit uns nach dem Flug zu machen. Der Pilot machte einen vertrauenswürdigen Eindruck somit war der Ablauf sehr entspannt. Während des Fluges wurden uns gezeigt welche Städte wir gerade abfliegen. Der Preis war für das Erlebnis absolut TOP und für das gelassene und coole auftreten aller am Flugplatz, hab es auch gutes Trinkgeld. Das "Museum" durften wir kostenfrei noch besuchen. Geht mehr in die Richtung Lost Place. Ich fand es gut. Nicht immer alles muss im Museum auf Hochglanz poliert und 5m Umkreis abgesperrt sein. Hier sieht man die Vegetation und das hat Scharm und passte perfekt zu dem kleinen Flugplatz.
