Restaurant Petra — Restaurant in Općina Vrsar

Two years ago I gave Petra’s only two stars. My experience wasn’t good at all. But yesterday we game it a chance again. And it was great! Petra her secured god service!!!! Food tasted good and actually is the best restaurant in Vrsar. So Petra 5 stars you and your team deserve.

A great restaurant but on its way to loose the sens for hospitallyty. We have visited Petras several times during the years and always was satisfied with the food and service. But this year something negative happened. Twice we booked a table and where forced to wait up to an hour after our slot. Both times Petras son (?) picked company's after us in the que before us, it don't feels professional. And both times Petra tried to save the situation. So our conclusion is that there is at least one floor mangar to mutch, two can't decide. Our eating experience where absolutely gooood, buth having the table late made a stressed situation. So Petra our advice stop and think it throw...

This restaurant has the most fabulous menu which is so different to any other Kanoba. Quality beyond words, Petra the owner is amazing and is backed up,with great waiters and most importantly her French husband the Chef. The food is the best in our opinion and certainly beats the so called number one kanoba in Vrsar, there is absolutely no comparison. There are major road works at the moment in the entire area, but just follow the orange detour sings and you will find, direction of Kovazada...This is a must place to visit on your holiday and enjoy everything you eat and drink. Prices are slightly above the normal restaurants, but the presentation and quality far out stands the extra...

Nachdem dieses Lokal in einem Istrien-Reiseführer sehr positiv bewertet wurde, haben wir uns vorgenommen, dieses zu besuchen. Also reservierten wir telefonisch einen Tisch für 2 Personen, der Zeitpunkt des Restaurantbesuches wurde vom Restaurant vorgegeben, 21 Uhr. Wir kamen pünktlich, ca 10 Minuten vor 21 Uhr, im Restaurant an. Unser Tisch wurde noch abgeräumt und gerichtet, was vollkommen ok ist, und wir dafür auch gerne warten. Um 21 Uhr wurden wir dann von einer Kellnerin an unseren Tisch gebracht und....... warteten. Nachdem die Nachbartische rundherum (Abstand zum Nachbartisch 50-100 cm) von 3 unterschiedlichen Kellnern bedient wurden, waren wir der Meinung, dass auch wir einmal zumindest nach Getränkewünsche gefragt werden. Aber kein Kellner drehte sich auch nur um, nahm auch keine Getränke auf, oder gab einem das Gefühl bemerkt zu werden, kein "ich komme gleich, oder es kommt gleich jemand". Wir durften zusehen, wie ein junges Paar, sichtlich ohne Reservierung, da sie, nach Nachfragen, zu einem anderen Paar gesetzt wurden, ihre Getränke bekamen und auch die "Speisetafel" zur Durchsicht. Nachdem wir derart ignoriert wurden, entschlossen wir uns, nach 20 Minuten Wartezeit, dieses Lokal zu verlassen. Das Essen mag sehr gut sein, dazu kamen wir aber nicht. Das Service bekäme von mir nicht einmal einen Stern. Wir warten gerne und haben vollstes Verständnis, wenn viel los ist und viele Gäste warten, aber Ignoranz und Missachtung gehört nicht zu einem guten Restaurant. Nebenbei standen wir auch noch quasi hungrig auf der Strasse und mussten uns ein anderes Lokal suchen, welches gegen 22 Uhr noch Küche hat. Zum Glück sind wir ortskundig und konnten dann rasch ein nettes Lokal aufsuchen, wo wir freundlich begrüßt und auch bedient wurden.
