DO NOT GO. Really aggressive “service” trying to sell you overpriced sunbeds, drinks and food. Doesn’t help that you speak Spanish or ask why others pay way less. All they do is tell you lies. When you say no thank you, they keep pushing “mojitos, pina colada, coconut” and keep repeating this with you every five minutes. So you really can’t stay there relaxed.
We ended up paying 1500 cuban pesos for one sunbed while everyone else paid 200 pesos. At the arrival I said that we paid earlier 200 CUP in the other beach and he said it’s because it’s public and this one is private. I asked for few others how much they paid and everyone paid 200 CUP (they all spoke Spanish). They have even menu with prices which says 200 CUP for one sunbed. When I asked why we paid so much more, they first said this is only for two hours use and when I said that we will be here only 2hrs they said that because the others come here regularly that’s why they pay less. Clearly lies after lies. I also up ended paying 1000 CUP for one Pepsi, because the guy denied to give me change. When I said that he is lying, he said “nooo I live here I know what I do”. Yeah - scam tourists.
There is a nice beach nearby Playas del este. Go there, much cheaper and they...

Worst experience ever! The beache was very dirty with trash. Very sad. You better go to Santa Maria! Very clear beach and sea there! And less annoying people. Don't make the mistake of coming here! Only one star because I can't...

Trash everywhere, vendors harassing nonstop, swarms of house flies, even a copious amount of trash in the water until you swim out further. This place is fine for snorkeling.... But terrible for...
