It is a small chapel dedicated to St Mauri and her husband St Timothy. Visitors are free to enter inside.
Following the stairs above the chapel there is a hole in the mountain that extends till the other side and which according to the legends, St Mauri miraculously created and passed through it in order to escape from her persecutors.
It is a quiet and peaceful place where visitors are enjoy the benefits of both religion and nature. Next to the chapel grows the second oldest tree of the island and below that river Krios flows.
