Extreme Park — Attraction in Nicosia

in principle, this is a really nice play park for children. However, you have to bear in mind that older children (7 years and older) might not have so much fun. You're not allowed to do any rolls or flips in the air on the tramolin or the bungee jump. You're not even allowed to sit down and jump up again on the trampoline.... Safety is always blamed, which is not wrong in principle. But then you might have to make two passes: once when older children are bouncing, somersaults are allowed for those who can do them, and if they can't, then they can't. It was quite sad for our son, because he has loved doing it ever since and can do it quite well. Nothing has ever happened... Unfortunately, the climbing tower was closed for safety reasons.

We visited today for the first time. The admission fee is a bit higher than other places we have tried but nothing too expensive. The building is very old and worn out. All leather objects (chairs, tables, toys etc) are too old, and you can easily tell by their condition. Security wise, everyone did what they wanted and there was just one staff member to oversee the kids inside the castle. The worst thing for me is how dirty it was... The toys where dirty, the place was dirty, even the plate that the cup of my drink came in was dirty. I would say that the place needs a lot more care and love from the owners, but since there are people who pay to be there, maybe I am wrong... As for us, we are definitely never...

Meine Bewertung bezieht sich auf einen Besuch im Februar 2022. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt war es schon recht warm, dennoch war der Außenbereich noch geschlossen und leider entdeckten wir den kleinen Hinweis dazu auf der Homepage erst nach unserem Besuch. So zahlten wir also den vollen Eintritt, obwohl wir nur 2/3 der Einrichtung nutzen konnten. Ein weiteres Drittel fiel für uns persönlich ebenfalls weg, da die Ebene im 2. OG eher etwas für größere Kinder ist (Bowling, Paintball etc.). Die 1. Ebene - die Unterwasserwelt - hat uns aber dennoch sehr gut gefallen. Ganz vorn befindet sich das Piratenschiff, dass eher für die kleinen Kinder inkl. derer, die sich noch krabbelnd fortbewegen, gedacht ist. Rund herum liegt der Gastrobereich, an dem Eltern und Großeltern an großen Tischen verweilen und einigermaßen den Überblick behalten können. Es folgt ein riesiges Klettergerüst mit allerlei Extras, in dem unsere Kinder sich eine gefühlte Ewigkeit getummelt haben. Schön gestaltet und so richtig zum Auspowern. Wer es zwischendurch mal etwas gemächlicher angehen will, kann weiter hinter eine Runde Fußball spielen oder mit riesigen Bauklötzen spielen. Die sanitären Anlagen fanden wir sauber vor. Es könnte gerne ein weiteres Damen-WC vorhanden sein. Gegessen haben wir vor Ort nicht, das Angebot ist eher Fastfood als gesund. Der Kaffee hat mich nicht so überzeugt, aber die Hauptsache ist ja, dass es den Kids gefallen hat. Und die haben schon beim Verlassen des Extreme Parks gefragt, wann wir denn...
