We were traveling up to Platres, and we wanted to get some wines along the way like we always do. We basically are trying to visit all the wineries in Cyprus as much as we can. We went to Oenou Yi the same day, and they even cheated us as we paid €17 for 7 wines and the rest of the people at the wine tasting paid for only 3 and got the same amount. So, lesson learned! We then sat down to taste their locally made Cypriot wines and I highly recommend their Merlot! However I absolutely fell in love with their Moscato which is naturally sweet from the dried grapes it's made from. This winery is less touristy than others and the owner explains excellently how the wine is made, the grapes used and the end to end wine making process. The owner is a proud Cypriot and inhabitant of the village of Vasa and this shows in his wine making and the set up of the whinery.
