The view on the rock spur originally called the Black Wall (Schwarze Wand) originated after 1825 and was named after Princess Wilhelmina Kinská, born Countess Colloredo-Mansfeld (1804-1871), the wife of the owner of the estate - the Prince Rudolf Kinský. The oldest gazebo was about to evoke the shape of a hermitage: a closed plank cabin, covered with spruce bark, with a shingle roof, decorated with a cross. During its existence it has changed its appearance several times - for the first time after the storm of 1853, when it was built by joiner Josef Röhlich of Jetřichovice with the help of family members. The last one - opened and made out of a beams grew up in the 20th century. Today, the wall offers a beautiful view of Jetřichovice and its surroundings, including neighbouring Maria's prospect and Rudolf's Stone. In 2011 the National Park Administration put a picture with a portrait of the Princess Wilhelmina Kinská in front of a sightseeing platform made by Mr. Ivo Švejnoha...

Read moreWe drove far too far (prohibited) and thus had only 6-700m to walk 😬 Not good! Park by the tourist info house and then walk the 4-5 km through the forest and gorges full off digitalis and dead furs and spruces. Fantastic. When you come to the small shelter you can go three ways, and we'll do the other two next time. Btw it's not easy to find the tourist info place and the entire area is a study worth so take...
