Aquapark Olomouc — Attraction in okres Olomouc

I would like to preface this review by stating that my experience is strictly limited to the wellness section of the facility. As a foreigner who has lived in the Czech Republic for over 12 years, I was eager to visit a wellness center in Olomouc during our long weekend stay. Unfortunately, I was left deeply disappointed by the wellness experience, which I feel compelled to share.

To begin, the sauna ceremony was nothing short of shocking. The space was overcrowded to the point where we could barely find a comfortable spot to sit. The ceremony leader's introduction lasted more than five minutes, during which time we were already feeling uncomfortably hot. Many of us, including myself, had to leave early as the heat became unbearable—this was not an isolated issue. The selection of music was also questionable and did not enhance the experience in any way. To make matters worse, the ceremony leader accidentally struck a woman multiple times with the towel during the performance, which was both unprofessional and unsettling.

Additionally, It looks like guests are allowed to bring personal belongings, including bags, into the wellness area beyond the changing rooms. This is not only inconvenient but also compromises the overall atmosphere and comfort of the space (there were even people drinking beer out of cans in the public whirlpool).

With all that being being said please also take into account that: only 4 saunas are available (2 of which are really small), you have to pay extra for towels and there is no hairdryer in the changing rooms (at least the one for men).

Overall, my visit to this wellness center was incredibly disappointing, and I would not recommend it based on...

Traveling to 20 cities in 10 European countries throughout the summer, we visited many waterparks. Out of all, Aquapark Olomouc was the smallest...and the coldest.

Arriving on a Saturday in August around 12.30, we waited in line to get inside for 30 minutes. (We later found out it's how they regulate the crowds. They do a great job at not having too many people inside.)

Tickets are by age and time. We paid for three hours, which felt like the right amount.

There's an inside space with two saunas, three hot tubs, three water slides, a kids area, a rapid river, a cafe, and a pool.

Outside are several more pools, two slides, a kids splash area, a bar, and a small playground.

Every pool is colder than you expect, including the hot tubs. Most of the slides are slower than expected except for the funnel slide. The steep drop at the start is a thrill!

The powerful dryers in the shower areas are a nice touch in case you forget to...

Do tohoto aquaparku jsem chodila roky, ale poslední dobu čím dál tím méně častěji. Pokaždé to bylo točit čím dál tím horší, nejčastěji problém s nevychovanými lidmi a plavčíky, kteří to neřeší. Po včerejší návštěvě jsme to vzdali...

Sauna/pára jim nějak blbě těsní a v celé vnitřní hale se špatně dýchá. K tomu byla včera voda extrémně chlórovaná, tohle určitě nesplňovalo normu! Celou dobu nám tedy slzeli oči a to jsem na chlór zvyklá, chodím plavat pravidelně do Mohelnického bazénu. A na závěr plavčík, kterému je všechno jedno... byla jsem tam včera, sobota 15. července 2023, pána který měl v tenhle den směnu byste měli vyhodit! Byla tam ženská v normálním oblečení, tričko, kraťasy, spodní prádlo, to samé její dvě děti. Zřejmě si zapomněli plavky a koupali se v tomhle. Plavčíkovi to bylo úplně jedno... Pak lidi, kteří byli v bazénu s těmi velkými kruhy k tobogánu, jednou lidi upozornil, ať to používají jen k tobogánu, jim to bylo jedno a plavčík se nenamáhal k tomu to řešit, takže už tak narvaný bazén byl ještě k tomu plný kruhů. A v tom jejich točícím kruhu, kde nemusíte plavat a pohání vás proud byli celou dobu lidi, kteří to tam blokovali, aby tam nemohl nikdo jít. Ozvala jsem se, neuposlechli, pan plavčík opět bez reakce... Celou dobu čuměl do počítače a smál se, já teda když byla dříve zaměstnaná v obchodě v Šantovce, tak byl počítač jen na práci a na filmy jsem se tam nekoukala, v aquaparku Olomouc to je asi jinak, což je dost blbí, protože má větší zodpovědnost než prodavačka,.. tak snad se vám tady někdo neutopí, když plavčík čumí na filmy nebo něco...

Tu jednu hvězdu máte za krásné vzpomínky z dětství, které od tud mám, ale po včerejší zkušenosti už nepřijdu znovu. Po dvaceti minutách jsme nevěděli co tam dělat, šli jsme pryč dřív... Nějakou tu slevu na smažený sýr co nám dali na recepci jsme teda nevyužili, nechápu, že nemáte něco pro všechny. Tolik lidí má alergii na laktózu a já konkrétně jsem veganka, nechci moc, ale kdyby místo smažáku bylo k těm hranolkám alespoň orestované tofu nebo zelenina, neodešla bych tak nešťastná a když už nic, najedla bych se. Je mi líto, že musím psát takhle dlouhou a negativní recenzi, ale zkuste se zaměřit na lepší nabídku služeb a kvalitnější personál. Takže všem mohu jen říci jeďte radši jinam, nedejbuh s dětmi ta přechlórovaná voda je...
