Moravská Třebová City Museum — Attraction in okres Svitavy

The former theater of Mährisch Trübau is now a museum. It has been beautifully renovated and the park is beautifully manicured.

When I was here last in the 80s the building was dilapidated, gray, and the stucco was falling off. At the time, the hospital built in 1894, stood next to it (see old photo of my great aunt in front of the hospital.) Unfortunately, that building, which formed a nice ensemble with the museum, was demolished. However, the museum has been restored to its former glory and looks amazing. It was closed when I got there, so I can't comment on...

Budova krásná, to je ovšem to jediné pozitivní. Dlouhodobě chybí u vystavených předmětů podrobnější popisky (např. u vystavovaných obrazů chybí název techniky, na čem je namalován i datace). Aktuálně vystavují betlém u kterého není popis už raději žádný... Když chcete nějaké info, musíte se ptát pracovnice, která ví ještě méně než vy. Lístky na výstavu kupujete doslova "mezi dveřmi" do nějaké kanceláře. Být turista, celkem mě tento přístup od další návštěvy odradí. Dobře nevypadají ani hromady "uskladněného" nábytku všude ve dvoraně a WC, které vám odemknou až na požádání (Musíte ovšem najít někoho, kdo má klíč.). Mnoho let na mě tato budova působí jako taková "zašívárna" pro pracovníky kult. služeb. Bohužel jsem se setkala i s neinformovaností pracovnic mezi sebou. Pan Holzmeister se asi v hrobě obrací...(Mimochodem ani jeho jméno na svých web. stránkách nemají...

Neben den von anderen Nutzern erwähnten Ausstellungen im Untergeschoß, gibt es noch eine sehr bemerkenswerte Ausstellung im Obergeschoss.
