Pietní místo obětem hor. Stojí se zde zastavit a uctít památku zemřelých. Kolem kaple jsou lavičky s nádherným výhledem. Popřemýšlet, vzpomenout, pokochat. Moc pěkné místo tak ho v rychlosti jen tak neprejdete.

Krkonošský hrebeň, cesta k Louční boude. Na elektrobiku sa dá vyjsť, aj ked to nie je celkom ľahké. Stretnete davy peších turistov, keďže je tam asfaltka. Na hrebeni je pôvabný výhľad na Louční boudu.

Památník obětem hor je kamenná kaple v Modrém sedle mezi Luční a Studniční horou v Krkonoších. Je v nadmořské výšce 1509 m. a je nejvýše položenou kaplí v České republice. Od roku 1957 slouží jako pietní místo k uctění obětí, které zemřely v Krkonoších. Postavena byla ale už po roce 1798 na počest Václava Rennera, který zemřel nedaleko Luční boudy. V roce 1975 jsem byla v Krkonoších zrovna v době, kdy při záchraně turisty zahynul člen Horské služby. Od památníku jsou krásné rozhledy. Je to tak trošku smutné místo, když člověk vidí kolik lidí zahynulo třeba jen kousek od boudy a to třeba i v létě. Stojí to za to, se tady zastavit a...

Kamenná kaple se jmény obětí hor. Povšimněte si, že Johann Kugler umrzl na Černé Kupě v roce 1868 v červnu. Směrem k Luční boudě půjdete kolem Rennerova kříže, který byl postaven na památku majitele boudy, který zahynul v bouři jen kousek od domova v témže roce. Asi tehdy...
