We paid for swimming pool and received a wrists looking like watches to unlock a cabin and buy food etc. We did go to changing room, showers etc. we passed the swimming pool cross the areal and found out that the everything except one pool is paid extra and that our wrists are useless. Unfortunately it needs to be paid in advance and cannot be paid by our wrists. So I and all the children had to go outside to the cash desk pay again and then again go though the changing rooms, showers and everything again inside. Not much time was left for us to be there so we had to hurry up. I am not sure if we made it to cash desks in time, maybe yes. But there was a big queue to get outside. So I decided to take a bit shorter queue to time validation machine where it should be able to also pay overtimes. To queue took like forever. Then some security guy arrived to explain that the machine has some problem with cash. So the whole long queue did move to cash desk serviced by a person. There sit a lady which explained to everyone one by one after awaiting the queue that she does not have a working payment terminal. So again everyone from this queue was moved back to the queue to the machine where we were already once waiting. So we had to wait a third queue to get outside. Standing in the same infinite queue second time was crazy. This was very frustrating. I had to explain other people myself that one queue is for cash and one for cards so they could avoid waiting in a wrong queue. We were charged like 30 minutes of overtime which I believe is around the same time which we waited...
Read moreI strongly advise against visiting this facility, as the potential risks outweigh any perceived benefits. My partner who is Czech asked to purchase 2 entries for the whole place including the water park, and he asked about the sauna which they stated is paid at the end of the visit. When we then tried to enter the water park our bracelet wasn't working. Then we were told we had to pay 60 crowns extra by a lifeguard at the front desk. We went all the way back to the front desk and the middle aged woman was very unhelpful and told us we would have to purchase another 60+20 minute entry which would be 300 crowns, on top of the 300 crowns we already paid. Even though it was a mistake that the staff made not us, as my partner had communicated clearly with them in Czech that we wanted to go to every part of the facility. It was a waste of time and money on our end, and the middle aged women at the front desk seem to show that they have lousy hospitality skills. There are much better indoor pools/spas in Prague. They may cost a bit more like Saunia or InfinitSen for example, but they are better and friendlier facilities overall that are worth you time and money, don't go to this establishment unless you enjoy getting treated poorly by staff who only offer more problems...
Read moreWithin Prague, this is definitely my most favourite swimming place for both adults and children.
Reasons are as follows: Prices are reasonable. You pay for 1h 20mins and then for every extra minute.
The adult pool is long (50m) and wide, which allows for many lanes depending on the swimmer's skill.
Steam sauna is included in the package, there are two rooms for that
Small children have a warmer training pool. For this one and the one above, you don't need to buy a aquapark ticket. That pool is brilliant for learning how to swim. Just avoid going there on Mond / Tue mornings till 1pm as they have lessons there and the small children pool cannot be userd at that time
For a small extra fee, there is the aquapark side with slides, whirpool and Yakuzi. All are great additions to the fun. Just keep in mind that outside summer, the aqua center is opened only after 2pm.
Overall I can only recommend this place, even the life guards are friendly. One can buy food at the aqua park section - mostly fried stuff but a gulash soup with some bread is cheap, nice...
