Damhusengen — Attraction in Copenhagen Municipality

A beautiful large open green are that can be used for many purposes.

When the kids were small we would take advantage of the two playgrounds. One in the Rodovre side close to the lake and the other in the Vanløse side about 500 m up from the lake house.

There is also football fields, are for dogs to run free and the entire area is outlined with running and biking paths. It is 2.78 km around this natural triangle of an area.

Pleasant place to think or enjoy with friends. Only problem is that cyclists don't care much for pedestrians and dog walkers don't always pick up after their dogs. But I love it early as it is quiet...

En oase tæt på Jyllingevej. Her er ro og fred. Smukke træer, en god følelse af eng, trods det faktum at den er beliggende, trygt mellem masser af huse. Fuglene flyver rundt. Meget af græsset får lov at gro. Der er mulighed for at finde en bænk, sidde og skue ud over det fantastiske område. En følelse af "storhed", en slags "ægte" naturlighed, giver en lyst til at trække vejret dybt og nyde livet. Du kan medbringe din madpakke som kan nydes ved de opsatte bord/bænke sæt. Pænt og rent.
