Damhuskanten — Local services in Copenhagen Municipality

Location is everything and this place has the best location. The owners are friendly and have owned this place a long time(15years?).

I have had mostly coffee and ice cream with the kids and now use the facilities behind the shop when I am running. I stop by just to say hello and see how things are going.

Other reviews complain about the prices but based on the location and comparing to other of the same type, prices are ok. Still expensive but I understand why.

I will continue to come and hope they continue to give the damhuskant a friendly, cozy place to get ice cream...

We ordered some Belgian Waffle with soft ice and the waffle taste really dry and old. 🤢. Then we decided to order some more so my boyfriend went to a scoop of walnut ice cream. It is my first time that I could say that I tasted an old ice cream. I could not describe the taste but I know that is now how the way it should be. Such a hidden gem in Vanlose Cafe Damhuskanten completely stole my heart. It's clam, charming, and has that real local feel you don't find often.The staff are just lovely, warm,gentle, and genuinely helpful. You feel like you're being welcome by friends.
